Directors and officers of organisations of all sizes are automatically exposed to unlimited personal liabilities for the actions they take. The obligations of directors have increased dramatically with recent changes to The Companies Act 2006 and the onus placed upon them to comply with health & safety law, employment law and regulatory reporting. Directors and officers of non profit making organisations are equally exposed, particularly given that the organisation itself may lack resources, making the directors or officers a more attractive target. In addition companies, organisations and their senior management now face the threat of prosecutions alleging corporate manslaughter.

Vision has three Directors and Officers Liability contracts, each tailored to meet the needs of the type of insured: Management Liability, Charity Liability and Non Profit Liability. These include cover for corporate manslaughter prosecutions and the option to include cover for the entity, loss of money due to employee fraud and loss of documents.
